In taking away the food, you are responsible for the safe transportation and storage of the food and understand that we accept no liability once it has left our premises.
Ideally, as with any food taken away, we recommend that it is eaten as soon as possible or stored under appropriate temperature controlled conditions. Food should immediately be refrigerated.
Lukewarm food can quickly become an ideal habitat for the rapid growth of bacteria, which can then lead to food poisoning. To reduce the risk, consumers need to make sure they refrigerate the food within two hours, beyond this customers are also advised to:
- Dispose of any leftover food that has been out of the fridge longer than 2 hours.
- Reheat food at a temperature of at least 75°C.
- Follow essential food safety tips for preparing, storing, and eating leftover food.
